Wow! I am feeling the burn!

Today I had trouble walking because of John. The soreness in my quads, inner thighs and glutes are exactly why I give him five stars. I used to be really fit but then life happened, so I do know a good trainer from a bad one. I needed a jump start to get my bottom back. I picked John to train me because hes not into false praise to inflate your ego, mindless counting of reps or workouts...

Best Trainer at Hi-Fi Personal Fitness is Mike Bodziach

I started working out with Mike Bodziach at Hi Fi Fitness on North Avenue. He is absolutely THE BEST trainer I have ever had. I have been working with trainers for the last 10 years and he is the only one who has taught be the proper nutrition. Not to mention, as a female who puts on muscle way too fast, he has been the only one who has NOT bulked me up and he has put lean muscle mass on...

Amazing Personal Trainers

At the age of 19 I was diagnosed with a stomach condition and it really began to affect my health once I turned 25. Love these guys!

I've lived in Chicago my whole life and don't know why I've never heard of Jim Karas until this past Summer. I've had several trainers over the years but these guys are not only really good trainers but you won't find nicer people. Their workouts are very high tempo and I love it - I lost 20lbs this summer and can actually see my abs!

Worst business practices

Jim Karas is a great personal trainer, but he wont be training you. His poorly trained staff will and they will charge you $150 an hour! What you get there is no different than what you can get off an exercise video or from a magazine. Its nothing special. And, if you have an emergency and cancel in less than 24 hours (yes 20 hours is not good enough) they will charge you. No exceptions. Left...

Wear Your Kids Out!

My kids (2 and 4) both LOVE My Gym. They can climb, jump, run, generally do all the things I don't let them do inside our house. It is particularly great place for them to get out their ya-yas during the winter when they're cooped up inside. Instructors are enthusiastic and tireless. You are guaranteed a great nap from your kids after these classes!
